Advice for leadership teams on governance, policy and decision-making, with clear priorities for embedding equity in how an organisation operates.

Strength + Humanity
I advise public bodies, charities and faith institutions on equity, governance and institutional change. Combining investigative research, strategic analysis and community insight, I help organisations identify systemic barriers, strengthen accountability and translate commitments into meaningful action.

Advice for leadership teams on governance, policy and decision-making, with clear priorities for embedding equity in how an organisation operates.
Independent examination of organisational culture, policies and structures, using documentary evidence and people’s experiences to identify barriers and provide recommendations for action.
Bringing institutions, grassroots organisations and faith communities into purposeful dialogue, addressing barriers to participation and ensuring community perspectives inform decisions.
Training for staff and teams to deepen their understanding of race, faith and representation, and work with the communities they serve with greater care and confidence.
Individual support for leaders navigating complex institutional settings, strengthening confidence, clarifying purpose and developing their judgement in the challenges they face.
Keynotes and facilitated workshops on race, institutional trust, faith and women in leadership, opening up difficult conversations and examining the responsibilities of leadership.
My career spans grassroots advocacy, institutional advisory work and journalism. In 2016 I received a Channel 4 scholarship for an MA in Investigative Journalism at De Montfort University. Alongside that investigative grounding, my experience includes racial justice audits, community engagement, and workshops and training across the UK.
About Anira25+
years of leadership in equity and social justice
My work includes the racial justice audit for the Diocese of Bath and Wells, and a commissioned racial justice report and documentary film for the Diocese of Hereford.

“Anira's unique blend of experience in grassroots advocacy and strategic expertise has been influential in helping the Council and its partners to develop a more equitable and inclusive model to support displaced people across Somerset for the future.”
“Anira's work in conducting a Racial Justice Audit across our diocese has been a blessing to us. She has followed up the contacts we have been able to give her, thoroughly interrogated our documentation, and has engaged with passion and honesty, listening to a wide range of views from around our diocese.”
“When I first started working with Anira, I lacked confidence, struggled with decision making, and felt uncertain about my purpose. Her reflective yet strategic approach helped me align with my values while thinking practically about my goals. With her support, I not only grew in confidence but also built my brand, launched a podcast, and filmed my first episode, something I never imagined possible. Anira's energy is magnetic, her resilience inspiring, and her coaching truly transformative. I would wholeheartedly and without hesitation recommend her.”
My media work spans investigative research, factual television, programme development and independent production, alongside broadcast contributions and interviews. I also undertake freelance journalism and write independently on race, identity, representation and public life, examining perspectives that are overlooked or misrepresented.
